Jim grew up in Pennsylvania, served with the U.S. Army in Germany, earned a PhD in biology, and retired after 34 years in public service, mostly with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife. "In 2005, my home became Bear Mountain Lodge, where I now have the good fortune to meet a wonderful variety of exceptional, interesting folks."
